28 thousand years ago the then technologically savvy Eco-Humans created the doom of Dragons. The Dragonkiller.

This was a many-year endeavor, and creators from the most advanced sciences and magics took part in creating the Dragonkiller armor.

  1. The first stage was to make the wearer of the armor impossible to destroy with all the different kinds of dragon breath weapons.
  2. Then they made the armor itself breath resistant – almost breath immune.
  3. A decade later, after armies were ended with only the wearer of the armor surviving, it was time to create weapons. And they started with harnessing the damage attempted on the armor. All damage that was resisted, was reflected in full at the aggressor.
  4. Flight capabilities were added – the wings are not decorative.
  5. The ability for another wizard to apply her spells through the armor was included but even that was not enough.
  6. 100 years after the start of the project, the Ecomen broke their rules for the first time and created a clear weapon to complement the armor. This was the end of the time of Dragons. This weapon that might have been a unique bowsword, is lost in history, un-named and un-nameable.

The completion of the armor and the end of the time of Dragons lead to the end of Humankind as it evolved naturally. Check out the timeline right after the Egg fall to learn more.
