Most images on our site are bought through vendors that include but are not limited to Freepik, Shutterstock, and Depositphotos. Pexels and other free-to-share vendors are also used from time to time. We also use AI image creators.

Some images are entirely owned and created by us (like our maps), and we hold exclusive copyright presently as Grey Dragon DnD World © 1992-2022 is licensed under Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.

Honorable Mentions

Caeora Content. Under the Small Commercial Use Agreement we are using some of the content of this likable human. It is a rare thing to see a creator with a human face on the internet, we admire that. Support him on Patreon or by buying the special stuff he has on his site.

Tom Cartos content. Several maps are provided for free by this creator (license). See more about him at https://www.patreon.com/tomcartos and/or https://www.tomcartos.com/ .

Copyright of text

Most of the text is written by us and inspired by stories from international Mythology, 2 pages are using waterdeep wording and imagery. These will be offline as soon as we are told to do so even though they are used in a legal way.  All other texts are entirely owned and created by us, and we hold exclusive copyright presently as Grey Dragon DnD World © 1992-2022 is licensed under Attribution 4.0 International.

Paizo Content (pre-ORC)

We are interested in bringing people closer to the amazing imagination offered by Paizo. This site might start to translate Pathfinder ideas into DnD 5e so that all can understand the benefit Paizo brings to the table. We use only what Paizo allows us to use to do that pre ORC.

Hasbro Content

Some very limited content is published under the Fan-content policy of  Hasbro/WotC (i.e. the words Waterdeep, Tabaxi and Yuan-ti). Some NPC pdfs are used as our creations under the “uncopyrightable rules” rulings of SCOTUS, and can also not be challenged under the Wizards of the Coast’s Fan Content Policy as described here. Additionally, the following is necessary to express under the terms of the Creative Commons license Hasbro is using since February 2023. It is also true.

had to be included, sorry

LucasArt and Lucas Film content from Disney

This site is fan based and fun fueled, and is not affiliated in any way with Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC, The Walt Disney Company, or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries. And I repeat,  this site is not affiliated in any way with Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC, The Walt Disney Company, or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries. The content used, mostly in https://sw.dnd-world.com, is used under the terms of the Lucasfilm link above, and we recognize that the terms are not expressly spelled out, so any perceived infringement that is communicated to us by Lucafilm or Disney, will be remedied ASAP, by either taking down or correcting the offending parts. In the case of Lucasfilm content because of the lack of a fan-content policy, we will respond to even unfair claims, as if they were fair.

Plugin: Smush

Note: Smush does not interact with end users on your website. The only input option Smush has is to a newsletter subscription for site admins only. If you would like to notify your users of this in your privacy policy, you can use the information below.

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.

Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location, and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Files and images served by the CDN may be stored and served from countries other than your own. Stackpath’s privacy policy can be found here.

Smush uses a third-party email service (Drip) to send informational emails to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is sent to Drip and a cookie is set by the service. Only administrator information is collected by Drip.
