Growing Magical Rocks is an artisans tool. It takes rare components and mixes them in unique ways into an evergrowing item.
The resulting Item is easily incorporated into a magical item or can be used as an item to be infused with magical properties.

You take in your 2 hands 1 gram of 2-4 substances you wish to mix and grow. Speaking and repeating guttural ancient dwarf-speak you form through the power of your mind and hands a tiny glob of the material you wish to grow.
All of the elements used must be mined and refined magical earth elements and the resulting rock cannot be considered “mined”. If the item is not reworked within 1 hour of creation, it cannot be reworked. Any attempt to reshape or imbue with magic after 1 hour makes the item brittle to the touch.
The tiny shape grows for 4 hours to fill a space equal to or smaller than a 1-foot cube. If allowed to grow further, after this period it grows in a non-cohesive way forming branches, webs, veins and irregular crystals at the rate of 100 grams per hour.
As an example, in the picture below you see how Electrum, Aquamarine, Ruby and Watershriliar grow in an enclosure shaped like a heart and then left for 3 hours to grow even more.
