Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You detect magical auras within range. You “see” the school of magic, the strength, and the location of the strongest aura in any 5′ square within range.

In addition, every round, as an action, you can concentrate on an item/creature that you can see. You identify one spell affecting it for each round you spend a round concentrating. This does not help with area effects, or with hidden items (you must be able to see at least 3/4 of the object/creature). Creatures can resist Detectification with a Charisma saving throw (with advantage if they are actively attempting to deceive on any issue).
